The heaven-sent cupcakes. It'd been a while since I last rewarded my taste buds with these beloved treats. And since the Sprinkles Cupcake Bakeries do not ship their flavorful sweets cross-country, I made a trip to Williams-Sonoma & picked up a Vanilla flavored cupcake mix to calm the craving. The result. Sweet, sweet, perfection in my very own kitchen =o)
A letting them spend 35 minutes in the oven and being pampered with the home-made icing (instructions came with the mix) the cupcake stood, not as tall as the originals as seen on the left, but with the same to die for taste. That for me, was more than enough.
